Who are the Cowboys:

Freedom Academy offers a Football and Cheerleading Program to underprivileged students as well as homeschool and private school students.  They get an opportunity to play and cheer for competitive football in a Christian-led program. We want all kids to have an opportunity to enjoy this sport even if their high school doesn’t offer it.  We are more concerned with the 20 years after they play for us and how they will impact society. Leadership, responsibility and teamwork are taught in a Godly environment.

Last year we stepped out on Faith and bought brand new helmets, shoulder pads and uniforms. The families we help can’t always go much beyond the initial fees to help fundraise. So we are chipping away at our bills the best we can. Each season is expensive with our home games costing about $1,500 between field rental and officials.

Here’s the bottom line:

We need to raise as much money as we can to pay for our equipment and get us through this season. Then, our regular fundraising will carry us into the next season. All donations will go to our general fund that pays the equipment, officials and field rental. Our coaches are volunteers and will continue that way.

We believe that our kids can benefit from the game of football. Each boy and girl that goes through our program will have the tools to be a asset in this world, not a liability. Your dollars will help maintain that environment for years to come.
