Discover Peace
For Benjamin is the story of Simon-Matthew, a boy who seeks the return of his idolized military brother by creating a video blog petitioning for peace, and must find the approval of his neglectful, angry father in order to bring peace to his own home.
This is a story of sacrifice, redemption, friendship and family relationships balancing humor with heart warming moments to inspire and uplift and remind us that spreading peace in the world starts with the person staring back at you in the mirror. Although this story is fiction, its message resonates in a war-torn world. Help us turn Simon-Matthew's inspirational story into a feature film by contributing to this project.
Over the years I've watched many films that uplift, inspire and provide a positive message. Media has such an impact on our lives and I believe that more positive and uplifting entertainment is needed. Last year two uplifting films, God's Not Dead and Heaven is for Real became very successful films at the box office. We believe that For Benjamin can be just as successful.

The projected budget is $2.5M. We're not asking for that amount, but if you've got it, we'll take it! So why this much money? It's true that we could make this film for a lot less, but we want to create a product that will reach a wide variety of people as the message of peace is universal. A higher budget will allow us to create a higher quality film that we can distribute theatrically worldwide and on demand. Your generous contributions will go to the development and pre-production of the film.
But we don't want you to go away empty handed. In addition to the warm and fuzzy feeling you will have from contributing to the project, we have some great perks for your to enjoy:
Our exclusive T-Shirt with the message that Peace starts in the home:

The Power of Music
Have you ever listened to a piece of music that brought tears to your eyes, made you smile or given you hope? We all have. There is a healing power in music, a power that delivers peace and hope for the future, which is why as the writer of the story I wanted to incorporate a rich influence of music. I had several songs that I listened to which inspired me in the writing of this film, Simon by Lifehouse and Alive by Shrink the Giant. In the film Simon-Matthew uses a violin as an instrument in spreading peace and as an instrument to his own peace. As music plays such an important and enhancing role in the film, we hope to provide a soundtrack available upon the film's release.
Cast & Crew

Message from the Filmmaker
Risks & Challenges
There are always risks involved in film making. It's possible the film won't get made, or won't get picked up by a distributor. But with the recent surge in positive films that have garnered success in the box office, we feel confident that ours can be added to that list.
What Can You Do?
Please contribute and support our project if you can and that doesn't have to be a monetary contribution. Spread the word. Spread Peace. Spread the message of positive media. Building an audience helps build success for the film.
