Short Summary
FOR MARTA is a short film about a young woman named Alice who commits suicide. The film follows her sister Marta and her ex-boyfriend Sam, as they spend the next 24 hours dealing with her death. Written by Isabel Ellison and directed by Ryan Guiterman, the film will be shot this July in New York City.
Who's Involved

Ryan Guiterman (Director) - Ryan recently, was a producer on URGE, a big-budget thriller starring Pierce Brosnan. He also helped to produce IMPERIUM, a forth-coming film starring Daniel Radcliffe. Ryan has worked on a number of films, including STILL ALICE and MEADOWLAND. He directed an indie film called THUNDERSTRUCK and has directed numerous commercials, including one with Daniel Radcliffe. He is a graduate of SUNY Purchase.

Isabel Ellison (Writer & Marta)- As an actor, Isabel has been in plays on the West End, Royal Court Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and many others. She has also appeared on CHICAGO FIRE. Isabel is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. This is her first screenplay.

Franco Gonzalez (Sam)- Franco has appeared in numerous films, including JANE WANTS A BOYFRIEND, MI AMERICA, GRAND STREET, SUNBELT EXPRESS, OUR BOYS and SPIT BOYS. He has appeared on several TV shows, including THE GOOD WIFE, BILLIONS, PERSON OF INTEREST and UNFORGETTABLE. Franco is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

Grace Rex (Alice)- Grace has appeared in numerous films, including THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, CONTAGION, THE DILEMMA and WOMEN WHO KILL. On TV she has appeared on THE GOOD WIFE, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, MASTER OF NONE, BLINDSPOT and ELEMENTARY. She has also written and directed several short films of her own. Grace is a graduate of Ball State University.

Kristopher Kling (Stephen) - Kristopher has appeared on numerous TV shows, including STATE OF AFFAIRS and BANSHEE. He was a lead in the indie film OF MINOR PROPHETS, and he has appeared in THE FITZGERALD FAMILY CHRISTMAS, H, FAN GIRL and MYSTERY TEAM. Kristopher is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

Logan Georges (Devon)- Logan was a lead in the HBO pilot THE MIRACULOUS YEAR (dir. Katherine Bigelow), and he also played Pepicek in a workshop of Brundibar, which was directed by Tony Kushner. Logan is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
Dani de Waal (Alexandra)- Dani has starred in the National tour of the musical Once, as well as in Mama Mia! on the West End. She appeared in the film NON-STOP with Liam Neeson, and made her Broadway debut in Picnic at the Roundabout Theatre Company. She is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Julia Greer (Kathleen) - Julia is a recent graduate of Kenyon College. At Kenyon, she starred in Tennessee William's Summer and Smoke and Corryn Fell's Gidion's Knot. Since graduating she has performed at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Noam Harary (Justin) - Noam has appeared in numerous films, including: NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE, ROMEO & JULIET IN YIDDISH, and LIVING WILL.... He has also appeared in the TV series IN BETWEEN MEN. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
