Short Summary
I'm Hanz Ray Ronquillo (26), I live in Manila, Philippines and working as a full-time freelance webdesigner.
Just 2 Days ago Philippines was hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan which is comparable to a Category 5 Hurricane. There were 10,000 feared dead and thousand more injured and missing, there were bridges, buildings, schools, and houses collapsed.
*Update: as of now the total death toll were 2,300
and what's more sad is that southern part of Philippines was hit by Magnitude 7.1 earthquake just a week before the super typhoon haiyan cast it's catastrophe.
Just this morning I've seen the aftermath of the typhoon and thought of any means to help the victims, and crowd funding if the only way I can think of to raise funds for the medical and relief assistance of the victims.
This campaign aims to provide assistance to the victims in Southern Philippines specially in Leyte, Samar, and Palawan.
What We Need & What You Get
I need to reach whatever amount, $1 will go a long way for the victims of the typhoon.
I can only provide Pictures (If the foundation allows me to go with them) of people smiling while receiving there relief goods and medical assistance.
$1 = 5* Paracetamol (Medicine)
$5 = 14* 1L Bottle Water
$10 = 20* Canned Goods
$20 = 12* Shirts or 8* Blankets
$50 = Can Feed 10 Families in a Day
$100 = Can Feed 10 Families in a day and provide Dry Clothings
$350 = Can Feed 10 Families for a Week
$1000 = a small bamboo hut for 1 family
$2500 = a stone house for 1 family.
Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help:
- You can share, tell, or blog about this campaign to other people and let them know that Philippines, Specially, Tacloban City needs there help.
You can also send your donations to any reputable charity foundation that aims to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
I also have a shirt which cost only $14 in teepublic. all commisions I get in there will go to support the relief operations.
