The greatest costs in web design…
As a software engineer, Google had become my first step to hack through development problems. Countless experience shares and sample codes really helped a lot through my feature developments. However, the most time/resource consuming part of each project was not the online research, but the communications with different stakeholders.
Intuitive right brain and logical left brain does not usually agree with each other, the collisions usually resulting in bruises but not generating constructive sparks. Stakeholders with different background and standpoints, limited time and resources adds on extra pressure, makes this process even more painful and difficult.
About time this problem gets solved...
We want to create a tool web-site that provides visual and real time representation of the design-in-progress website. The tool will be written in HTML5 spec including drag-n-drop, icons, and buttons which allows you to create a prototype quickly and easily. With everything showing on screen and can be easily adjusted by everyone in real time, the time and costs in the communication process will be greatly reduced, especially without the file rendering, transferring and reading time.
Our current planning for this web site is as such:
Easy to access: stable Internet connection.
Easy to install: web browser with HTML5 supported(FireFox, Chrome).
Easy to use: drag-n-drop interface with visualized preview.
Real time output: done the dragging and dropping, it’s all set.
Less rendering: The outcome can be exported as .html file format, reducing back and forth communications between visual designers and front end engineers.
It’s FREE: It really is FREE!
You can be part of this!
Over the years, we have been benefited from the Internet and would like to try to return the favor. However, we can only do what we could with our limited resources. At the 1st stage of our non-profit project, we would like to invite you to joins us by donation. All the donations will be spent on feature development and server hiring/maintenance.
At last, we welcome help in any form if you would like to join us in building a better world.
