Short Summary
FreeOK is Oklahoma’s central humanist activism operation, placing emphasis on community involvement. We are actively seeking partners, sponsors and volunteers to spread goodwill for our neighbors and promote positive atheism.
Our humanitarian efforts include disaster relief and clean-up after the Oklahoma City area tornadoes last year, organizing a Holiday Giving campaign last December which provided gifts for 120 children, raising $15,000 for tornado victims with our "I'm actually an atheist" t-shirt campaign, and helping raise over $18,000 for St. Baldrick's cancer research. We logged nearly 1000 volunteer hours last year, which earned us the first ever Humanism at Work Award from Foundation Beyond Belief.
In August we will be holding our 4th annual Freethought Convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This years convention will be expanded to 2 days and will include many great speakers, an educational seminar from Coalition of Reason, and a screening of the movie Chasing Ice. We are also partnering with the American Red Cross to collect blood donations during the event.

What We Need & What You Get
The total estimated budget for the convention is around $20,000. We have several sponsors, including Secular Coalition, Americans United, Coalition of Reason, EvolveFish and Foundation Beyond Belief, but we are short of our goal. Donations made through this site will go toward covering travel and lodging expenses of the speakers as well as venue rental.
• Donations of $10 or more will receive a black rubber bracelet with "I think, therefore I am" from our affiliate group Atheist Community of Tulsa.
• Donations of $65 or more will receive a FreeOK event t-shirt with our logo on the front and our sponsors on the back.
• Donations of $100 or more will receive 2 FreeOK event shirts.
• Donations of $500 or more could qualify as official sponsorship, and donors will have their name and/or logo included on the backside of the shirt, as well as on our website and other print collateral.
Any additional funds will go toward logistics and supplies for our ongoing charity and humanitarian efforts. FreeOK is an all volunteer organization, and NO MEMBER of the organizing committee receives any financial compensation. 100% of money raised in our various fundraising campaigns has gone to the persons or organizations that it was advertised for. FreeOK is a non-profit organization and our ability to achieve the goals set in our mission statement relies solely on donations from our supporters.
