HELLO WORLD!
My name is Bianka Bell and I'm one of the creators of Freshman Fall! The idea to write this story never really occurred to me. I had just finished sophomore year finals at Bard College, and was looking to do something to clear my mind. As I often do, I grabbed my laptop, and began to write. Instead of my usual poem or monologue, this time I wandered into what now has become my first film.
After finishing the first draft, I sent it over to my friend and production partner, Etnar Casado, to read over. He saw its potential and gained a special interest in the script. Between June and August, Etnar and I dedicated our time to writing the story that is now "Freshman Fall". With the help of our friend, Alex Hacker, the final script came to life. Now YOU could be the one that helps make our dream become a reality!
A short synopsis of the film:
The story follows the growth of Ned Spencer, a shy and slightly socially inept college freshman wins the attention of Luna, a sweet and beautiful classmate. In the process, he is thrust into a whirlwind of awkward and fun situations that begin to shape him as young adult. Ned is eventually forced to recognize the differences between love and lust and the challenges that life presents when these factors come into play.

Production --
Thanks to our amazing crew, we are covered with a fantastic camera: the SONY FS 100. Now, in order to make our actors shine and for our production process to run smoothly, there are a few things that we need to cover:
- Wardrobe
- Hair & Make-Up
- Food during shooting ( we want our cast and crew to remain in good health throughout the entire process; they'll be working long hours! )
- Electric and sound equipment
Post production & Marketing --
This is where most of our funds will go towards. We are confident that FRESHMAN FALL will be a success with your help in the following areas:

We want to share our dream with as many people as possible!
The Impact
Our main objective is to change the film atmosphere on the Bard College campus. By doing so, we to hope open the gates for other young, ambitious filmmakers all over the country and the world!
