The Director's Statement

I have been fascinated with the thrill of exploring the surroundings that were unknown to me. If I wasn't scraping my knees and elbows on treacherous mountain trails, I was seated in front of the television watching Indiana Jones and The Goonies. I guess you could say, I was jealous of not being born in the decade of bright neon clothes and flock of seagulls haircuts. 'From a Certain Point of View' will be my endearing love letter to the films that inspired my love for filmmaking.

SHORT SUMMARY

The protagonist of "From a Certain Point of View" is the tenacious kid who couldn't sit still in her seat at school. This kid named Charlie has a good excuse to not sit idly by one night when she witnesses her parents' biggest fight yet. Fearful of her family splitting apart forever, Charlie rides out into the night with an old journal that could lead to buried treasure in hand. Only Charlie's sheer determination will tell if she can save her parents' marriage in one night.

The money we raise will go to costumes, make up, props, and making the actors feel comfortable on set with things such as food and drinks.
