From Stalls to Walls is a project to open a brand new, community focused, independent comic book store in our hometown of Leamington Spa.

We are Comics Etc. a Leamington based pop-up comic book store which has been popping up locally since it was created by a couple of comics loving buddies almost a year ago.
We've created this campaign to raise funds to open a bricks and mortar comic book store which we feel will be beneficial to the local community. We want our store to offer a unique experience where our customers can interact and meet like minded individuals while at the same time promoting local small press and hosting local community events such as film nights and game nights.
Over the past year we have popped up at film festivals, music festivals and events in our local area and have had the pleasure of meeting a great many comic book lovers many of whom have posed the same question "Have you got a store?"
Our pop-up experience has been a great success Spider-Friends and we now need your help to take it to the next level and give our customers what they really want!

This is a fixed funding campaign so if we don't make out target then you will not be charged.
Our funding goals are tiered and based on realistic plans for opening a comics store. This initial funding will help us to open a bricks and mortar location and to stock the shelves, however the level of funding we can raise will dictate the level of service we can provide.
- With your help we hope to raise a minimum of £5000 this will go a long way towards opening a small retail unit, with the sourcing of basic fixtures and fittings and also help add additional stock such as small press, manga and classic back issues.

- £10,000 - With this additional funding we will be able to increase the capacity of the store enabling us to expand our offering of products, services and community projects such as signings and local artist spot lights. Although the store will be able to have extended opening hours we will remain within a small retail unit.
- £20,000 - If we can raise this additional funding then it will allow us to consider a medium sized retail premises which will enable us to expand the capacity further offering a wider selection of products and services, improved fixtures and fittings including seating area providing a more bespoke retail experience. The additional services we can offer would include film screenings, artist galleries/signings, wider small press section and board gaming events.
- Any funding raised above £20,000 will mean we can secure a more prominent retail location and offer products which cater for the wider community, regular comic book lovers and niche interests.

From trading in the local community for the past year we believe that there is a demand for a comic book store and by helping to fund our project you will be contributing towards providing a service to the local community whilst supporting a local business.
We hope our perks are the kind of cool stuff you’d love to purchase. All perks have been locally sourced by Comics Etc. and we have formed our own super hero team calling in favours from across the galaxy to bring you the best hand picked perks available.
All funds raised through this project will be used to get our new comics store off the ground, we want our comic book store to be based around our customers wants and needs as we believe that it will enable us to grow with our customers.

We are two local buddies who are fans first and foremost and we get just as excited on new comic book day as anyone else, we genuinely believe in the medium of comics and want to bring that to our local area and get more people involved in reading comics.
Our backgrounds are in various fields all which complement this campaign and we have had to learn a lot about comic book retail since we started. It's not our first project together having successfully created a weekly film podcast which is still going strong two years after it's inception.
