When a bustling five-star hotel is suddenly under review, a useless manager must scramble with their incompetent staff to get the workplace up to top-tier standard or risk losing their rating and reputation. Or worse. What results is a series of miscommunication mishaps as the team scrambles to do the work that should already be done. With reputations and careers on the line, will the team get the hotel up to standard in time?
Having worked in the hotel industry for over three years in both the UK and Australia, it became apparent to me recently that I had some stories worth sharing. Hotels are an unpredictable work environment at the best of times, but the one thing that stays consistent is the entertainment. We never run out of it. And the most entertaining aspect of all is the staff.

Comedy plays a key role in our lives; it fascinates us, inspires us and brings us closer together. Personally, I believe we can never have enough to laugh at. And the only thing better than having a laugh is having people to share it with.
We all understand the great staffing shuffle that has resulted since the pandemic.
We know of the re-skilling and the staying put in a job you don’t want to be in.
We also all know what it’s like to have a horrible boss.
After the last couple of years we have had, the demand for comedy has surely never been more needed. And we think Melbourne, the world’s most locked down city, deserves some laughter.
