After successfully keeping Penelope Lane of Lane Robotics out of prison, robotics intelligence lawyer, Jeanine Bell, received the gift of LEO(h), an android with Synthetic Sentience. Loving, Empathetic, Optimistic, and helpful LEO(h) had been programmed to love Jeanine. But Jeanine has ethics and LEO(h) is very, very illegal. Is there a path to true love for their misaligned software? That’s what we want to find out.
Created and written by Octavia Bray, LIFE WITH LEO(h)​ takes place in a future Los Angeles. It’s a story about love, consent, friendship, and free will, told through the hijinks of a highly ethical lawyer who suddenly has an illegal love-bot in her custody.

The Impact
Life With Leo(h) is a joyful and romantic story that centers the love lives of BIPOC women. With a story core focused on consent, free will, and finding each other and ourselves worthy of love, Leo(h) encourages us to trust our anatomically correct heart (shaped waffles) and take a chance on each other. Love and hope are desperately needed in this era of pandemics, gun violence, climate disasters, and unfettered capitalism. We know our fans see value in this and are committed to sharing that same good with others.
Creator Octavia Bray is a television writer and podcast addict who is currently staffed on Disney Channel's RAVEN'S HOME. She was in the 2017 NBC Writers on the Verge program and the 2018 Disney | ABC Writing Program. She speaks less and less Mandarin by the day but, at the time of this writing, can still manage. As Creator, Writer, and Lead Actress, Tavi is the beating heart of Life With Leo(h). She has finished the Season Two scripts and we plan to release the episodes beginning on Flowers, Chocolate, and Half-Off Rotisserie Chicken Day 2023. (See the FAQ.)
Risks & Challenges
We are making this show, with or without funding, and we recognize that is a position of privilege. What we would prefer to achieve is the production of our dreams without emptying the Atypical Artists' coffers completely. That is where we'll need your help. Quality audio drama is expensive to produce and starting from zero is a daunting challenge. The real risk we face is the mounting challenges to continue doing what we do.
- Our biggest risk is the chance that Tavi won't be paid for the incredible writing on this show. This is a labor of love for her, and she has asked that we turn our existing funding toward the production itself. Still, we would really like to pay her for her work.
- We share a joint challenge with all audio productions in the indie space - How can we raise the level of our productions to professional quality and somehow manage to pay every person who works on the show a living wage? It is a massive challenge, but we believe in the power of community and the willingness of our listeners to support our efforts.
