Who is Gallager Goose
Gallager Goose is my newest creation. He is a high energy, fun, boisterous character for our new line of children's books. The purpose of Gallager is to entertain children with humor and rhyme while teaching wonderful lessons about faith and God's love. This first book "Leaving Mopertoperville" creatively teaches a lesson on the power of forgiveness. He is perfect for grade school aged children 4 to 9 years of age. He's being brought to life through not only books and EBooks, but music cd's and downloads and of course the talking stuffed animal (plush) "Word Power Gallager" who speaks 20 different life and faith affirming phrases when you press his tummy, which kids will love.
What We Are Asking
We are asking to raise $25,000 to help us build the Gallager Goose brand. We are looking to make him commercially appealing while teaching positive morals and values to young people. This campaign is to help us finalize our launch. We are using the money to create product inventory, administrative support, and provide legal fees for trademarking and copyrighting, as well as continue the series with the next titles.
How This Is Beneficial
The purpose of this campaign to provide children with a character they can admire with the morals shared by the likes of Veggie Tales and the high level of creativity and wit of Dr. Seuss. Children will be able to relate to Gallager Goose on both the entertainment and faith based levels for which he is intended.
Risks & Challenges
We understand the competition in the world of children's entertainment and the reality that parents are looking for contemporary entertainment for their children not only entertainment with a faith undertone. That is where Gallager Goose shines. Through my years of writing both greeting cards and children's material, I have seen that there is a void in the world of children's entertainment that forgets to incorporate the faith based with the highly entertaining and creative (like seen in Veggie Tales). I am looking to fill that void and allow children to benefit from the messages of Gallager Goose both spiritually with faith values and emotionally with wit and creative bling.
