The Story...

After the wake of his son, Alex, botanist Michael Christenson recieves an anonymous package containing a rare ghost orchid and card with a cryptic poem:

"Lexicon She Rants

Ionize The Batte

Heretics Nor Sons

Harmonic He Stencils"

Convinced that the flower and card are a message, Michael attempts to find the truth about Alex's death. Evading an unseen enemy and his own paranoia Michael steps into a world he may wish he never discovered. 

Who We Are...

We are a group of young filmmakers hailing from all over the world, Canada, Mexico and China, that somehow managed to meet at the Vancouver Film School. 'Ghost Orchid' is our final project and our last chance to make a film that we're proud to put our names on.

Since we are from different parts of the world and from different walks of life we're also influenced by different types of film. From Indies to Hollywood Blockbuster, from Asian Horror to European Melodrama. We want to make a film that can speak to everyone. One that can communicate to different audiences and be something more then just some another student film. We believe that 'Ghost Orchid' can be that film. 

Why Does Your Donation Matter?

We hope that 'Ghost Orchid' is a stepping stone to become a feature. Though it is a short film we don't want it to be burdened with any of the preconceptions that a short film has. We want to be able to retain the scope and feel of a feature, not something that you watch but something you experience.

In order for us to aptly show the world of 'Ghost Orchid' we need your help. Just a few dollars can go along away. From feeding the crew to paying for props. Every dollar will go into making sure that this experience is fully realized.
