Short Summary
Hi! I’m Erin Moughon, and I’m the playwright of Ghosts and Gaslighting. I’ve had my short plays produced around the country (and in London, Paris, Canada, and Australia) and many published, but recently I've been writing more full length pieces. This latest is an official selection of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, and I’m thrilled to share it with you!
Much like my nephew, I am obsessed with Scooby Doo, but I also have a deep love of horror/thrillers. While I was binge-watching The Haunting of Hill House (and giving my husband the play-by-play comparison to Shirley Jackson's book, which I'm sure he loved), a thought came over me. What if this series had been written by the staff of Scooby Doo? And thus, Ghosts and Gaslighting was born.
What We Need & What You Get
Putting on theatre costs money. All funds raised will go towards paying the cast, director, stage manager, and designers, buying set pieces, buying costumes, buying props, and publicity. This is also the order in which we will be using the money (paying people for their time and talents is my first priority.)
Here’s what you can get!
Digital Thank You: I’ll thank you publicly on social media so everyone will know how awesome you are! (And it may or may not be in costume. Spoiler alert: it will be.)
Baked Goods on Demand: I love to bake, and I will share that love of sugar, flour, and butter with you!
IT Support: Get computer support instead of throwing it out the window!
Signed Playbill: Get a personalized signed playbill from me, the playwright.
