I have two incredible parent's who mean the world to me. They have had a hard life and it's time they get a much needed break.
In 1984 my parent's left the refugee camp and got sponsored over to Canada. Up until 2009, my dad had been working as a labourer. He had to go on disability in the spring of 2008 due to his poor health (he has high blood pressure, both kidneys are functioning poorly, kidney stones and gout). My mom, has been batting with rheumatiod arthritis for over 10+ years. She was prescribed a pill to help with her rheumatiod arthritis which she had been taking for over 10 years. Unfortunately, the side effects of this pill caused her vision to become blurry. She can't drive and has a really hard time seeing things. In the fall of 2011, my parent's got T-Boned because a girl ran a red light and my mother was put in the hospital. She was released the same day and crazy enough my mother dragged herself to work. Then in the winter of 2011 my mom received horrible news that her youngest brother was diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, he passed away in February of 2012.
I am asking for your support to help me reach my goal of raising enough money to fund a trip for my parents so they can go back home and see their remaining siblings and also pay respect to both their parents who were taken away too soon. You see, they are wonderful parents and an even better grandparent. My father takes care of my son while I am at work and my mother walks to my house everyday after work so she can be there with her grandson. They deserve a much needed break so please help me make this happen.
I am not interested in receiving help for free and have added some perks that may be of interest to you.
