There is violence on TV, sexual exploitation throughout entertainment, and “God-less” programing existing on many networks and stations. It is time to add a show that has the realism of today, the platform of yesterday and the faith needed for a better tomorrow! That is the Ginger Show! With your help, with your prayers and your support, we will provide an entertaining, educating and inspiring show that you can watch with your kids and grandparents. SYNOPSIS
The Ginger Show is a Christian “dramedy.” It is essentially a drama with some comedic moments. The character Ginger is a modern woman; with a husband, three children and a full-time job. The Ginger Show was developed to bring to television a program that allows the majority of viewers a chance to watch a show that mimics society. It is a show that through its scripts and presentations discuss many of the issues affecting our society. Issues such as: Alzheimer’s, domestic abuse, unwed mothers, bringing up children, law enforcement and the community, being African in America and many other issues. In other words, Ginger is a conduit to look at our society perhaps opening up discussions worldwide about those issues that affect us the most, depending on who we are.
Ginger’s occupation is key. The relationship of society and law enforcement has worsened over the years. Ginger helps to provide some insight on the “human” side of law enforcement. A day in the life of Ginger is enlightening. Better understanding can help towards better communications. It is our sincerest desire to have a show that helps towards that understanding. WHAT WE NEED AND WHAT YOU GET
Our Goal is to raise sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to produce a Series Trailer, Pilot Episode, and two additional episodes.
Our incentives provide you as a contributor with various opportunities to socialize with the cast and crew and/or attend Ginger activities.
- An invitation to attend the Ginger Show Post Production Meet and Greet (on set at conclusion of filming)

- An invitation to attend the Initial Screening of the Ginger Show Pilot and Trailer
You get to support a show that is very unique. A show with a diverse cast. A show that looks at issues of race, law enforcement and society from the view of an African American Christian woman. Choices and decisions being made reactions and consequences. Ginger is current. It looks at today’s issues with a cast that looks like the world.
If our goal is not reached, the funds that we do receive will be used to further the project by: completing as many episodes that we can based on the amount; searching for matching funds; developing partnerships, and adding potential investors to complete the project.
THE IMPACT
The Ginger Show is a look inside a law enforcement officer’s life as a mother, a wife and a Christian. We believe the show can and will be a platform for people to see law enforcement officers as real people. Helping the public to gain a better understanding of the community working together with law enforcement to make a safer world for our children. In the last decade, we have seen an increasingly large divide between law enforcement and the African American community. Come take a journey and travel though Ginger's life.

CHALLENGES AND RISKS
The challenge is to produce the Ginger TV/Web series. We are working to acquire the necessary finances to complete the pilot and first three (3) episodes of the show. We can meet this challenge with your help. We have worked long and hard to find and establish a fine cast, great scripts and a formidable management team. Because we are a small production company we are able to do more with less. As with any project there are risks. The most definitive risk is not acquiring enough capital to support the show to become a success. Insufficient financing as with any project, can be the cause of its failure. We believe with the proper financing and support we will be a success. We have a wiling and able audience (Worldwide) that is ready and poised for a show like Ginger. Other challenges include letting the world know that a show like Ginger is available. We must have great social media marketing and personal communications to help build the audience we know is there and interested in a show like Ginger. Finally we acknowledge there is RISK! The risk lies in many areas and we believe we are able to mitigate those risks: insufficient financing (discussed earlier), developing and maintaining the audience, availability of the show to the masses, and addressing the competition.
