About the Book

When Luke, the attributed author of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts visits Ashleigh in a vivid dream, she awakes with a message; to write a book and share her journey and discovery of the love and light of God with others. Armed with the strength and courage of Christ, Ashleigh embarks on the most difficult and challenging thing she's ever done; look inward and dig up the darkest corners of her memory. Her calling to share comes with the hope other women will find solace and comfort in the challenges of growing up in a broken home, the pressures of being a teenager,  the disappointment of a failed career, the struggle of marriage, the challenges of motherhood, and all the moments of joy in between.

With the contributions of many believers, we can spread the Word and help change lives in a relatable way to those seeking His comfort.

This campaign would put together a practical tool that can be referred back to in times of hurt, need and inspiration. Many people have difficulty in finding or interpreting the Word when they need it most. Desperate for a message, they leaf through the Bible, searching for exactly what they need to hear at that moment. Or, they do achieve comfort from scripture, but unsure how to pray to our Heavenly Father. I propose a guidebook that accomplishes both using thoughtful, descriptive and relatable content with stories of my personal experiences, and ideas for prayer for those seeking a closer relationship with Jesus.
