The Project
'Girl In the Shed' is a short black comedy centring around Fliss, a young girl who accidentally murders her girlfriend, Ivy. Fliss is so built up in denial, she hides Ivy away in a derelict cabin and continues the relationship as if Ivy were still alive. Will Fliss ever accept responsibility or remain trapped in her own fantasies?
The story deals with themes such as Grief, the overpowering control of Love, Mental Health, and LGBT relationships.
An original story by Georgie Plant, she has also produced and co-written this venture alongside with Jade Stratton and joined by Oliver Wilson-Smith (Director) and Thomas Crawley (Director of Photography. Together, we are Lime 58 Films; a production company founded by Oliver in 2016, shortly joined after by Georgie and Jade. Throughout our time we have mainly focused on comedic short films, dabbling in short dramas including our latest web-series 'You Were Here' and our acclaimed documentary: 'Lammas'. This film is our most ambitious yet, not only from a production point of view, but also with the powerful themes and messages that fuel this story.
This contribution will essentially help us make this story a reality. We have been waiting to share this with you for a long time and we are itching to create something memorable. Not only that, you will be providing support to young filmmakers and story tellers and giving a much deserved platform to women in film allowing them to showcase some truly wonderful talent.

Risks & Challenges
With it being highly ambitious as a project, we have constantly proved we can deliver. Examples such as this can be seen in our Documentary: Lammas, our publicly favoured comedy: Dan Can Save You and most recently, our 4 part web-series : You Were Here.
Our Producer has created an efficient budget, considering every possible expense, and after successfully handling the budget for our other films, the possibility of us failing and not delivering what we have promised to you is next to impossible.
We aim to carry out the themes within this story with he upmost sensitivity and respect, ultimately creating a thoroughly entertaining piece for you, our audience.
The Impact
This project goes way beyond the story we want to share with our audiences, it boils down to the importance we feel of providing a platform and valid representation to women within the Film Industry. By having an all female cast and a predominately female crew it will showcase and highlight their talents to a wider audience. Contributing to the film will allow us to create a high quality film which we can enter into festivals so it can reach a wider audience, letting them know how valued and important representation of women and their deserved place in a male-dominated industry and also, the representation of LGBT relationships as a norm.
At Lime 58 we value our audiences just as much as the story we are presenting, so contributing will only help us create better content for you to continue to enjoy.
