Hey Given Circumstances fans, far and near! At last, there are some super exciting developments surrounding GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES....
First, let me introduce myself, as well as some of the team members who've been working tirelessly (since early 2015) to turn this screenplay into a film. I'm Patrice Logan, a professional photographer from JPCML Photography LLC.
As Executive Producer of GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES, written by Reid Martin Basso of Three Doves Media, LLC, I'm so excited to be bringing this awesome drama to the screen.

Directing GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES is Nicole 'Nic' Simmons from Eleven21 Media. The California shooting/editing power duo of Raoul Torresi (Cinematographer) & Raul Perez (Editor) will handle visuals on both the front and back ends of production.
The cast is set and ready to put on their best act.
Additionally, electronic music composer Sidney Maestre, Jr. and lyricist Reid Martin Basso, the 1990s California underground duo known as DETSKY MIR, 90s underground new wavers, are reuniting to provide some of the sound tracking!

PLOT
Reluctant husband Lance and childless wife Laura have been unsuccessful in starting a family. They eventually take on fertility specialist, Dr. Jun, to unravel the mystery. Laura embraces extreme measures to try to become pregnant, but Lance is revealed as having secretly embraced extremes of his own.

Our goals are to enter into film festivals and distribute to network channels exclusively for short films. But in order for us to reach that goal, we need to raise money to pay for everything. We have a budget of $6,000 that helps with equipment rental fees, props, production travel expenses and much more.

The Impact
Given Circumstances is an unconventional story that impedes on an unspoken topic. Not only does it spark a conversation, some of our cast members have a deeper connection and understand why it's a story that needs to be told.
"The storyline hit close to home for me because I have an aunt and uncle who struggled with infertility. Eventually they separated because there was a lot of pain in their relationship, caused in part by the lack of being able to have children. I think this project is special because it's very real and possible in lives today."
Risks & Challenges
Independent films are made possible by supporters like you! Low budget films deal with many more challenges than high budget films. We have shorter schedules which in return gives us less time for production days and a smaller crew which means people wear more hats. The majority of low budget films run on contributions and supporters. So if we are not able to achieve certain goals it means we have to scale back in certain departments. HOWEVER, we will stay optimistic that we will achieve our goals.
