The Story
Amber and George are living in squalor in a cyberpunk world and in need of medical assistance. You see, George needs his appendix removed. Preferably yesterday. But they can’t afford the operation. Even the dirty, black market kind. Which leaves do-it-yourself as the remaining option. Too bad neither of them has surgical training.
Fortunately, there are walk-through education modules you can buy. Which is about as good as it’s gonna get for impoverished folks like these two. So Amber plunks a broken down virtual reality gaming set on her head, and rolls plastic across the kitchen table. A quick injection sends George to la-la land. Time for that crucial first incision.

Blood oozes. The clock ticks down. Amber stumbles through the steps as best she can. And it looks like all’s going (relatively) well. But is it truly ever wise to attempt surgery with last year’s Atari tech? Not to mention an expired warrantee?
Written by screenplay veteran Anthony Cawood, Glitch is gritty, dark and satiric. And electrifyingly entertaining.
The Look
We intend to employ a cyberpunk visual style of the city - taking inspiration from the likes of Blade Runner, Strange Days, Akira as well as the writings of William Gibson's Neuromancer.

While the VR headset's HUD will be digitally added, we are excited to employ practical techniques for the surgery scenes which will be undertaken by award-winning effects company, Gibbet FX. A special torso will be built along with internal organs. Gibbet FX will also be custom designing the VR headset which will be inspired in part by Atari's Jaguar VR.
What We Need & What You Get
We are currently seeking to raise a minimum of £2500. This will allow us add further visual effects, both digitally and through prosthetics & make up, so we can present our envisioned dystopian future. While members of the crew are donating their time and money towards this project we desperately need help with the extra funding.
To entice you to back us we are offering a selection of rewards which you can see on the right hand side. The rewards range from a thanks, to signed merchandise, to set visits and roles in the film. Anything you can donate is truly appreciated. If you can't afford to donate, not to worry, a simple share of this page would be fantastic.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this campaign.
