What is Going Both Ways?
It's the story of identical twins who look and sound alike, and even think alike. But they've started moving along different paths. Adam and his wife just moved to the suburbs with an infant and a newborn, and Todd just started dating men.
Both twins are newbies and they're anxious - whether it be about a first diaper change or a first hand job. But they remain deeply committed to each other and their comedy career, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get each other through this new chapter in their lives.
Why this series? Why Now?
We're creating "Going Both Ways" because these are our lives now. In five years, Todd may fall in love with an elderly Japanese heiress, Baiya Toyota. And Adam may change his gender to compete with his wife for the affections of their son's studly math teacher, Mr. Jason. But for now, this is who we are.
We're also excited about the fact that some of today's biggest comedy shows started as web series, including shows such as "Broad City," "Insecure," and "Workaholics."
Where your money will go
In order to make this, we're going to need money for production costs. (Please look over to the right where you'll see the perks that come with different donation amounts!)
Fortunately, we have an incredibly talented and professional team of people who are excited to make this series with us. BUT there are still many costs associated with filming a series, including:
- Securing locations
- Equipment rentals
- Additional crew
- Feeding the cast and crew
- Marketing / Distribution
- Wardrobe / Makeup
- Festival submissions
And your contribution will allow us to pay for these expenses.
