Short Summary

In 2010, I found myself looking at the face of poverty, immediately after graduating from the usual US suburban High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. My whole life was flipped upside down when I saw kids in the third world of my native country, the Philippines. They didn't have access to many of life's most basic needs. The most basic of them, clean drinking water. Can you imagine? My heart was broken and my life found purpose. I was once a lost 18 year old graduate, and in an instant my life found a bigger purpose. After 10 months in the Philippines finding myself, I flew back to the US of A and promised to dedicate my life to those 1 Billion people in need. Months to a year of dedication, I found my 21 year old self in New York City meeting with the owner of charity: water. One of, if not the most successful water relief effort the world has ever seen. (www.charitywater.org) - Out of all the people to have this busy man's time, why me? I'm just a 21 year old kid, trying to help end the world water crisis, through proper style?

Successful meeting, we opened online (www.goodgrmnts.com) with garments that cater to my generation's taste with flexibility to be worn by any age. When I began to cultivate this company, I had two things in mind. Bring clean drinking water to those in need + Motivate our generation and generations to come to fight for those in need. I wanted to fill the gap that separates our youth & the third world. To be that medium between our youth and those in need. To provide to our taste in clothing, but to also be able to help those in need. Everything has been done before, and that was something I kept in mind - but we believe that Good Garments is that brand that you ACTUALLY like. That brand that does GOOD, and doesn't take away from your sense of style but instead, it's simple. Essential garments for everyday wear. That was the vision - and still is. It's really that simple. Basic Garments for a Basic Need. 15% of every puchase goes straight to our awesome friends at charity: water where they even show you exactly where each one of your dollars go! How cool is that?

What We Need & What You Get

What we are hopeful for is that we will gain more capital to use towards more high quality product and more marketing strategies to stretch our arms to reach those in need. We want to use the money to fuel two things & here's the equation. More funds/capital + The best garments known to man + our generation fired up about the cause = more people getting clean water. It adds up. Your kind donations will bring you and I a better & happier world.

Here's our next release:

Good Garments: Corinthians Camp Essentials

This next collection, we are releasing The Standard Long Sleeve by Good Garments. A simple, light weight, long sleeve for simple style. Keeping it simple.

This is what the funds/donations will be able to help get done. We'll be able to make more high quality, simple garments that will give more people clean drinking water. The brand is rapidly growing & we would like to ask for your help to meet these goals!

The Impact

The impact is unmeasurable. It gives more than just nice style to the fortunate, or clean water to those in need. It gives hope for both sides. A.) It sets a good example for our youth to take part in doing more good in the world and to always think of others. B.) It gives hope to those who don't have access to life's most basic need. It gives them a future. Women and children won't have to miss school & walk miles and miles just for clean drinking water. Combined, women around the world spend 200 million hours a day collecting water. They could use that time going to school, bettering their future and the future of their families. As we move forward as a human race, let's make sure we don't forget not a single person. Love is the answer.

What we've accomplished so far.

We released a limited line of Village Beanies on December 1st, 2012 - 12:00 AM and sold out at 12:17 AM!

Good Garments: San Fernando Village Collection:

This limited release of Village beanies helped give a WHOLE family, clean drinking water.

The grand opening of Good Garments online with the San Fernando Collection was another humbling experience and again, we were able to give a WHOLE family access to clean drinking water! It has been a great ride so far, we've a long way to go - but that's where you step in! Let's work together to help end the world water crisis. We all have a part to play!
