Hi, we are Good Night Charly. A team of loving parents, aunts & uncles who want to give your little treasure the most comfortable way of falling asleep and you as a parent the safe and warm feeling of knowing that your child is dreaming well.

Our team has been developing products together for more than 10 years. We are now on IndieGoGo because we need your help and support to finish this project. We want to produce Good Night Charly for parents and their little treasures all around the world in order to make dreams a little warmer and safer.

Choose your babies favourite lullabies from our song list. The tunes range from classics to our own composed lullabies by great indie bands and musicians.  

Sounds

Your child needs to hear a fan or the washing machine to fall asleep? No problem. We also integrated a wide variety of sounds.

Spotify & iTunes

Of course you can connect Good Night Charly to Spotify & iTunes and stream your playlists.

Own recordings

Record your voice or your own songs and play it to your baby whenever it wants to hear it.

Restart & timer

Restart all of the above with your app or simply set a timer.

Baby monitor

Set the noise sensibility and get alerts whenever your babies crying for you. You can also press to talk and say some comfortable words to it.

Comfort control

Good Night Charly constantly measures the temperature and humidity levels of your child's nursery. Customise the settings to define when you want to get notified directly on your smartphone.

Individual

You don’t like our black app layout? No problem. Configure your own color. If you want to you can also name your Good Night Charly after your baby and name it for example Good Night Lara.

Android

Of course we will provide the Good Night Charly app with the same functions for Android.

We will use an Open API to allow app developers around the globe to create other great apps for Good Night Charly on any device. If you choose to back us with the developer kit, we will send you Good Night Charly as soon as it arrives and will provide you with full support to help you realise your ideas.

The future

At this very moment we are working on the concept and design for an HD camera for Good Night Charly. The cam will be an add-on device which you can stick to your baby crib and connect wirelessly to the Good Night Charly box & app. It will feature night vision so you can have a quick look on your baby with our app from anywhere at anytime.

Why is it an add on you ask? There are three reasons. 

1. To have the best possible sound, the microphone of Good Night Charly should be as close as possible to the baby. Well, put a camera that close to your kid and no matter how cute your baby is the image will be horrible.

2. Not every parent wants a camera in their baby room. Even though we will put safety first on our flag we can understand that feeling. That's why we want to give you, the customers the possibility to choose.

3.We want to be the first ones to separate the camera from the baby monitor ;)

Anyway, like we said: we will use an Open API. So in case you want to connect cams to the Good Night Charly box and provide an app for all the people around there – we would buy you a T-shirt that says: "You are awesome!".

Risks and challenges

We are trying to minimize the risk as much as possible and the moment this campaign is funded we can immediately start manufacturing the devices. One challenge we might face is that suppliers may not meet their projected lead-times for selected components of the device. Most of our suppliers have already made volume and lead-time commitments, but there is always the chance of unexpected factors arising, resulting in shipment delays.
