Who are Carabosse?

Carabosse are a community interest theatre company whose work includes working with adults with learning disabilities and schools around Milton Keynes.

Our core ensemble are a mixture of professional and non-professional actors and Our mission is to produce and create exciting theatre and production projects. As we grow from strength to strength, we aim to emerge as a risk taking and innovative Company with a unique style.

About 'Gormenghast'

Carabosse have adapted the first two books of theGormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake into an extraordinary, vibrant and visually stunning theatrical production, which is to have its world premiere in Milton Keynes.

At the centre of it all is the seventy-seventh Earl, Titus Groan, who stands to inherit the miles of rambling stone and mortar that form Gormenghast Castle and its kingdom, unless the conniving Steerpike, who is determined to rise above his menial position and control the House of Groan, has his way...

Why do we need your help?

By helping to fund our project you will be giving this new theatre company an opportunity to realise their ambitions of bringing one of the greatest literary masterpieces to life on stage.
And although we are a professional company, we are still in our infancy. To ensure we have professional production values, we need to make sure we have the right equipment.

The funds will be spent on set construction, costumes, props and marketing.

We hope to raise £500 to help towards all of the above, but if we don't reach our goal we will obviously still be going ahead with the production :) but should we go over the £500 target, this will help us fund our production even more.

Other ways you can help

Don't worry if you can't donate money, you can still help! Please spread the word on Facebook, Twitter or even just tell your friends about our production!
