Kelly “Mac” MacGruder is a brave, strong-willed, Radar Intercept Officer. She’s a romantic at heart, and in love with Duke, but won’t let him know that!

Tommy “Duke” Mitchell is a top-gun Navy pilot, and a huge fan of John Wayne. Cool and confident, Duke thinks he’s a real ladies man ... and, in fact, he is!

(Maj.) Vitaliy Ivanoff is a top Russian MiG-31 pilot. Vitaliy is a proud Russian, well educated and ambitious. He desperately wants to acquire Gooch alien technology.

(Cpt.) Sergei Rustam the WSO (Weapon Systems Operator) of the Russian MiG-31. Sergei is not the sharpest tool in the Russian shed but he is loyal to Vitaliy and his country. He will do what must be done for mission fulfillment.

Awol is a former member of the Gooch (the caretakers of Monster Island), and now the rebel leader. He is a creature of great dignity, very polite, with a slow-burning but powerful fuse.

Rooster is a rebel, somewhat lazy, and although he has a very gruff exterior, is a softy at heart.

The monsters on the island rule the surface, air and water in their containment zone. If anybody finds themselves within their domain … well, that’s just too bad for them!
