Introduction
Hello! We are Acorn Amplifiers! Bill, Andrew, and Tyler. We started as a small electronics repair company in Gainesville, FL and have since moved our base of operations to Atlanta, GA, where we have been for the last 10 years. Our social media presence has expanded significantly over the last couple of years with a focus on building gear, giving tech advice, and making music related comedy videos.
We started this project from the concept that a lot of guitar players store guitar picks in mint tins. We thought that a handful of people would like it...we were VERY wrong haha. Since posting the initial prototype video, it has been viewed over a half a MILLION times! Holy crap! We are beyond grateful.
Needless to say, a lot of people have requested we start making this pedal, and we are ready to take it to the next level! That's where you come in...

What We Need!
This is very much a dream come true for us. Your funding for this project will go directly into the development of the next prototype. Our focus is to make a fast and easy loading system for the picks (standard size and thickness) and possibly expand it to less common pick sizes like the J3 (V2???). We need to complete a barrage of cycle testing so that we are sure we are providing a super robust product that can handle the abuse that comes with being on a pedal board, studio desktop,...wherever!

The Impact
Your contributions will mean that we can make this pedal available faster. We have received a lot of request to have this ready by the end-of-year holidays, so that people can give these as gifts. That is our primary target. Your contributions will make that happen!

Challenges
- Please be aware that we will likely need to modify the graphic. We will provide updates as the project progresses!
- Testing... testing... testing! We need to ensure this pedal is super robust
- Another big challenge for us, being a small company, is making this at a reasonable cost. We know there is nothing more frustrating than seeing a product you love and finding out it is too expensive. That is our mission on this...make this affordable!
Other Ways You Can Help
Even if you cannot contribute financially, it would mean the world to us if got the word out!! Feel free to share this post far and wide.
We appreciate you so much, and cannot wait to share this crazy journey with you!
Cheers,
Acorn Amps (Bill, Andrew, and Tyler)
