Where craftsmanship and adventure collide
Hey, I’m Dmitrii, the founder of Mitrich Boards. A few years ago, I started crafting wooden paddleboards. This journey was always driven by a love for building unique, nature-inspired adventure gear and instantly became my full-time job. What I love most is that while our boards are collectible items and striking centerpieces in any space, they're totally functional, bringing endless adventure to their owners.
Now, me and my family moved to Portugal and are starting from scratch by building a new workshop, and that's why I’m here — because I need your help to get this workshop up and running. In return, I’m offering some awesome handcrafted rewards, plus the chance to be part of something that blends adventure, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
Building together: what we need & what you get
First and foremost, we are fully committed to making this project happen. We’ve spent years shaping this vision, and nothing will stop us from building our workshop and crafting our boards. That said, your support will make a huge difference—it will help us open our doors sooner and create an inspiring space where craftsmanship and adventure collide.
For this campaign, we’re aiming for €12,000. A fully equipped woodworking shop costs far more, especially with electrical work, lighting, materials, and everything else that goes into building boards and sharing our craft. We’ve always relied on our own resources, and this is our first foray into crowdfunding—so we’re keeping our expectations realistic. Every contribution, big or small, helps move us forward, and we’re incredibly grateful for your support.
Here’s how the funds will be used:
- €7,000 – Essential woodworking machinery
- €2,500 – Workshop equipment and furniture
- €1,500 – Wiring and lighting
- €1,000 – Floor and wall restoration
We believe in craftsmanship, and we want our rewards to reflect the heart and spirit of Mitrich Boards. Here’s what we’ve prepared for you:
- For contributions of €10: A Digital Download of 10 high-resolution photos showcasing our paddleboards blended into natural settings.
- For contributions of €25–500: A selection of handcrafted wooden items made in our workshop — keychains, coasters, unique fins, and paddles. These items are made with care, using the same materials and craftsmanship we put into our boards.
- For contributions of €1,000–2,000: A Paddleboard Certificate that can be redeemed for custom-made paddleboards, designed and handcrafted in our new workshop in Portugal. You’ll receive an additional €500–1,000 in value on your purchase, depending on the tier. These certificates are lifetime, just like our infinite gratitude for your support.
