Welcome, and thank you in advance for touring our page. We are Cinema 4 Productions a newly formed production team comprised of independent film makers and media specialist. We are entering in the WDIV "Film Challenge Detroit" contest, with a short film titled "Hannah Kay", and themed "Resurgence: A Comeback Story", starring an amazing young actress named Alexis Berent. 

This campaign will assist us considerably with essentials needed for our film. Our team has brainstormed and been as flexible as we can on ways to shoo this film with a low budget and your donations help us maintain the integrity and professional look we will not compromise.  Thank you to our talented actors and crew who are gracious enough to drive 80+ miles for this film, and everyone who has helped us tremendously so far! (we can't thank you guys enough!) Your donations will allow us to give back to them as well.

Synopsis

As human beings we walk around with the scars of life's tragedies, some seen while others are hidden below the surface. Hannah wears her scars below the surface with the recent loss of her father and unwanted move to a new town by her mother for a fresh start. Kyle is the boy next door with visible scars as a burn victim after the loss of his father in a house fire. What seems an unlikely bond, the two are joined by their scars and what it takes to heal them.

What We Need & What You Get

Although there has already been some substantial out-of pocket expenses invested into this project in addition to the outstanding generosity from the cast, crew, family and friends, there are a few elements that are financially out of reach.

• Lodging for 10 people for 3 days  
• Help with travel expenses (80-100 mi to Lansing MI and back)

Risks & Challenges

With the story of this film being so dependent on nice days, I suppose a worse case scenario could be a weather delay (knock on wood)... or not raising enough funds to complete the project before the deadline. (September 15th)

Even still, I can't imagine this project going unfinished.
