I am an independent publisher of FIL-CAN MAGAZINE based in Ontario, Canada. I was Founder of the Live- In Caregivers Society of Alberta from 1998 up to 2002 when I moved to Ontario. The society helped with newcomers by integrating them to our group to lessen the impact of homesickness and emotional distress. It also worked with the government of Alberta to respond to abuses at their workplaces. We also provide a place for them to stay on days off and when terminated from work.
I am asking your help to respond to a devastating earthquake that hit my home province in the Philippines on October 15, 2013. It was 7.2 magnitude which Philippine Volcanologists described as "30 times" stronger than the bombs in Hiroshima in WWII.
The epicentre of the quake occurred in one of the towns in Bohol, a province where I grew up. Photos, interactions and documentations can be found in my website at: http://www.fil-canmagazine.com and at my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Li.FilCAN The need to help in the distribution of relief efforts is of a larger scale. On October 23, 2013, my Team of Volunteers stationed in my hometown delivered 300 re- packed bags containing two cups of rice, sardines and noodles for the hungry people in devastated ares. You can see our visual documentations of our relief efforts.
Please give so we can continue sending funds to purchase foods, medicines, water and other basic needs. We are also working alongside other private individuals who are pulling their own resources to help the victims.
If you have any questions please call my publications toll free number at: 1-855-434-5688 or text me at: 905-809-1641 or email me at: li.eronpublisher@gmail.com
If the money raised surpass the amount, I will bring the funds personally home to help rebuild a most deserving community. At this time, funds are immediately send home to respond to the immediate needs of the people of Bohol.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
