Greetings horror fans and movie buffs! My name is Dylan Wayne Lawrence. I am the creator and actor in the psychological short film, HELLo tHERE (aka Hell Here).
The film was inspired by my need to further expose the hate and toxicity that has plagued our world with fear. I'm talking about the fear created through racism, homophobia, senseless killings and the basic misunderstanding for one another as human beings. Because isn't that what we are all...human? It's the most basic thread that connects us together and yet somehow, a vast majority of society has forgotten it.
It is truly horrifying (no pun intended) how much hatred consumes our daily lives and what better way to showcase this monstrosity, than through the medium produced to capitalize on fear itself, the horror genre. Seems pretty fitting doesn't it?

The greatest challenge our project will face revolves around the creation of our very own original monster. We aren't just cutting two holes in a sheet and calling it good. We're literally sculpting an entire creature from head to toe!

Think of cult-classic creatures like Alien, Predator, Jaws, Pumpkin Head or Jurassic Park. How disappointing would it have been if the big "monster reveal" came and some guy was dressed like Barney running around? Lame wouldn't even begin to cover it.
Most Hollywood productions utilize CGI to bring to life their creative visions. Although this may be a more cost affective effect, nothing will ever look as authentic or terrifying as good ole practical effects.
My team and I are beyond fortunate to have secured one of the best FX Artists in the biz, David T. Woodruff (X-Men: First Class, Aliens vs Predator, The Thing). With his visionary talents and expertise, our creature could easily become the next cult-classic movie monster.
However, in order to make this creature right, it's important to reach our funding goals so there is no cut corners on the badass-ness that will be the "HELLo tHERE" creature.

HELLo tHERE isn't your regular run-of-the-mill horror movies. The film is thought-provoking, emotive and geared towards creating such a visceral reaction when viewed, it not only broadens your horizons but incites change...change for a better world, change for a society where love is the answer and hate is a distant memory, because quite frankly, the truth doesn't always mean rainbows and sunshine. The truth can be a painful experience, but that shouldn't stop us from doing what's right.

My team and I are making this movie because we've all been affected by the hatred, repression and misunderstanding of others. Our cast and crew represents a diverse collection of talented individuals who are all passionate about sharing this story with the world!

We completely understand not everyone is able to make cash donations. Lets be real, times are hard (we wouldn't be utilizing this platform if money grew on trees).
Jokes aside, word of mouth is just as beneficial of a donation and the power of your voice could really help our project reach it's funding goal. We would greatly appreciate any shares, posts, tweets, shout outs, articles or hashtags about our film. Just do it or else...(dun, dun, dun).
