Hello! We're Casual Cries For HELP!

Forged in the Halifax Open Mic and Karaoke scene, a group of misfit musicians were thrust together by circumstance and jammed live on stage.

CCFH is the the lovely mixture of Deves’ soulful acoustic-pop sensibilities, Keats’ tight dulcet east coast harmonies, Geno’s classic rock guitar riffs, Colin’s funky bass lines and Evan’s energetic and precise percussion, Casual Cries For HELP is a powerful pop experience unlike any other.

We've been working very hard these past 7 years. We've played at countless venues and festivals all across Atlantic Canada, made 3 EPs, 5 music videos, a web comic and we just put out our debut album, BEEN A MESS/STILL A MESS now available on ALL music streaming platforms. 

This is gonna save the TOUR!

Due to personal matters, we weren't able to do very many shows this year and last to promote our new album. THIS SUMMER, WE WANT TO RECTIFY THAT!

After being accepted this year into both NXNE (North by North East) in Toronto and the {REDACTED} in Newfoundland, the opportunities have kept piling up and we can't wait to bring our sound to new audiences.

We've pooled our personal funds and our band fund from album sales and merchandise, but of course jetting five quirky musicians across Eastern and Central Canada is not an easy feat.

Let's Break it DOWN

We're asking for at least $5500. Here's what your money goes toward...

• Travelling costs for 5 dope friends
• Being able to eat something other than breakfast sandwiches and gummy worms
• Gas? In this economy?
• The ability to afford a hotel room/Airbnb when we aren't able to find friends or family to crash with.
• Emergency medical fund in case anyone gets hurts on the road (*knock on wood* haven't needed to worry about this yet)
• Adding extra shows

WOWZERS! That's a lot of coin! Why so much?

Bottom line: In the year of our lord: 2025, it is very difficult and expensive to be a band in the music industry. When it comes to transporting musicians, instruments and finding places for all of us to sleep and eat, the costs add up. ESPECIALLY, if you're not signed or have a booking agent.

Nothing against the artists that can show up with their laptop and their charisma, but we believe there's nothing quite like the connection between an audience and a live band. We just want to party on stage and you guys are invited.

This fund would also allow us to put effort into more accessible shows including:

• Matinees
• Dry venues

We have a lot of fans who are either underage, don't drink or don't want to stay out until 1 AM because of their adult responsibilities. The millennial bedtime is 9:30 now, guys.

One of our biggest mottos is, "Everybody Eats", which means we want to make sure no one is excluded from our table. You, in fact CAN sit with us
