Gavin's Journey
My name is Jennifer and it is my mission to help The Lawrey Family with the never-ending stack of medical bills they are faced with and ensure that they continue to have a safe place to call home.
Over a year ago, they were faced with paying their mortgage or paying for their son's medications. They have not made a mortgage payment in a year and their home could be ripped from them at any moment. I have known Jeff Lawrey since we were kids and my heart truly aches for what him and his family are enduring on a daily, minute-by-minute basis.
Gavin was like any other 18-month-old when he suffered his first seizure and The Lawrey's lives were forever changed. After countless testing procedures, Gavin has been diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease - an incurable, life-altering disease. He suffers seizures during the night, hand tremors and is exhausted after only 10 minutes of activity. Brandi spends every moment with Gavin, while Jeff tries to continue some sort of normalcy for their 8-year-old daughter, Makenzie.
Gavin has been denied disability for some unknown reason and cannot qualify for any type of Medicare or Social Security to help with his expenses because they say his Dad makes too much money!!! This is ABSURD!! He makes "too much money" yet hasn't been able to pay his mortgage in over a year, in order to pay for his son's medications to try and help him be as healthy as he can be with his disease, to help save his life!!
No parent should be forced with having to make decisions like this in order to fight for their son's life!! This is where all of YOU CAN HELP!! Your donation will go into a fund to help Jeff & Brandi Lawrey pay for Gavin's medical bills and for them to continue having a safe place to call home for their family!!!
PLEASE DONATE TODAY & SHARE THIS LINK ON ALL OF YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITES AND WITH ALL EMAIL CONTACTS!!
TOGETHER, WE CAN HELP TO RELIEVE THE FINANCIAL BURDEN ON THE LAWREY FAMILY SO THEY CAN FOCUS ON KEEPING THEIR SON ALIVE!
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!!
