Ieko Media's Story
For 3 years Ieko Media has been a growing company built up by Jamiel Boling and set on a path to provide outstanding services for the Houston and surrounding area markets. He has single handedly gained contracts from companies such as GUESS and Cosmo Magazine and was recently published on the 20/20 website after doing a special photoshoot for The Bernal Family. Many companies have come to Jamiel and asked would he be able to provide them with commercial and video services on the same level as his photography? Now Jamiel has come to a crossroads, to get the money to purchase the new camera system and start leasing a studio to provide these services that are highly sought after or close up shop and try and pursue a career working for another company. When you have worked for 14 years since the age of 14 to provide professional services to clients you don’t want to give that up especially when they are asking for it. So we need your help.
What this means for Ieko Media
This will have a major impact to the Houston market because there are so many depending on Ieko Media to pull through and Houston needs this because there are just too many foul and unprofessional companies and individuals trying to provide media services with no business license, no real education, no drive and no real need or want to strive for an industry standard professional level. Most companies just simply take their commercial projects to other states. I don’t want to be another media company forced to leave or simply take myself out of the equation because photography alone just doesn’t cut it.
What We Need & What You Get
I am very open and I will tell you that to move in the right direction with a great start we will need $45,000. For a company this may not seem like a whole lot but it’s the world to Ieko Media right now. It will go toward the purchase of a Red Scarlet-x model which will allow me to provide industry standard video services but also allow me to second it as a photography camera allowing me to up the detail and momentum of my photography services. Some of the money will go toward additional lighting, cords, cases and I will set aside $6000 to lease a studio space for 6 months. The amount listed is just for one camera but I’m not worried because with one camera I can already see 5 companies being taken care of right now and providing profit to purchase a second model if possible. If we do not reach our target goal we will use our remaining time and the money that was raised to provide photoshoots for those that can’t afford it such as kids in hospitals and cancer patients, this will be my last service to Houston as a thank you for everything.
