MESSAGE FROM JONATHAN:

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thanks to each and every person who took time from their busy schedules to read about my story, and donate their hard earned money. I truly appreciate every single dollar and cannot express with words how much this means to me. I left prison after serving 25 years for a murder that I didn't commit with 93 dollars to my name. 

I was terrified, and I had no idea how i would be able to survive.  And then, in a moment, I became one of the luckiest people alive. My attorneys called me to tell me that a man named Alex, who had never met me, but had seen me appear on Good Day NY, had decided that he wanted to try and help me out by starting this campaign. I had no idea what Indiegogo or crowd funding was, but as my attorneys explained it to me, i just couldn't believe that total strangers would donate their hard earned money so that i could try and rebuild my life. As i watched the total grow higher each day, i was stunned and surprised by everyones kindness. After seeing the worst of people over the last 25 years, I was now seeing the best.  I never imagined that this campaign would raise almost 50,000. 

Because of Alex Sutaru, and the absolute kindness of almost 900 strangers, I now have a real chance to start over. I promise that i will treat this money with the respect that it deserves, and that i will forever be thankful to each and every person that took the time to help me out. I will never forget this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all.
