I plan to allot:
$455 to completing the demo (acoustic) tracking of my songs.
- Track all raw vocals in a full-sound-proof voice-chamber through state of the art microphones (Blue Bottle [with all capsules], Manley Cardioid Reference [molded with Vintage Mullard 12AT7 Tube], Neumann u67, Sony C800g). Directed by a professional studio engineer. ($255) (85USD/hr).
- Benefit from the help of a studio musician to embellish and track the piano leads that I composed (but admittedly struggle to play flawlessly) on a full-mic Weber Grand Piano. ($200) (100USD/hr).
$1,000 to the production of my songs. This crucial process entails the outsourcing of a music producer, referenced to me by my study manager, who will turn my acoustic demos into "pop" songs through the addition of vocal effects, synths, and beats via LogicPro and ProTools. ($1,000).
$600 to the composition of social media packaging. As an independent artist working for the support of both labels and listeners, a competitive social media presence is vital to the melding of an "image" and the popularization of my music over youtube and music distribution platforms.
- Directed by graduates of the Los Angeles Film School.
$5 to something I'm probably forgetting.
