Help Me Make a Difference ...
When I lost my son to AIDS in 1994, it was a catalyst for me to make a positive difference in the world. I founded RFHA (Rotarians for Family Health & AIDS Prevention, Inc.) and through amazing partnerships and contributions, we've been able to deliver free healthcare services to over 800,000 underserved citizens.
Our program has been effective beyond my wildest dreams but there's more to do. We have ambitious plans to broaden our reach and deliver healthcare screenings to 5 million people by 2020. Given our trajectory of success and a solid network of volunteers and partners, this is an achievable goal.
How You Can Help
A little help from a lot of people will get us there. Your $20 contribution will have an immediate and direct impact on our ability to bring positive change to thousands of lives.
The beneficiaries of these health screens are people who would otherwise fall through the cracks as they live in hard to reach dense urban slums or far out rural areas. We screen for diseases such as HIV, TB, diabetes, cancer and more, as well as provide lifelong immunizations for the children.
A donation of $20.00 will cover one full round of tests and immunizations for each person in need. Any support will be highly appreciated by our team and by the thousands whose lives you will help improve.
A Track Record of Success
Our model is proven. We've built a coalition of partners including Centers for Disease Control, The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation, Delta Air Lines, FHI 360, Emory University School of Public Health, in-country Ministers of Health and others that have helped us lay a strong foundation to build this massive health campaign.
