This is Sarah. Sarah is 28 years old and has a 9 month old baby boy named Noah. I have worked with Sarah's aunt, Chloe, for a number of years and have been following her story closely. Sarah was recently diagnosed with two inoperable brain tumors and given only weeks to live. She was thrown a lifeline a few weeks ago when Dr Charlie Teo, a world renowned neurosurgeon and passionate advocate against racism, said he could operate and save her life. The cost was considerable, nearly $100k. Together Sarah's friends and family got together and raised the money needed for her operation which happened over the weekend in Sydney.

I am pleased to report that Sarah survived this operation but her situation is still critical. She is currently unable to speak or breathe on her own and remains on life support. She and her family are still faced with uncertainty but are hopeful for the best. They are now looking to her rehabilitation and the long road to recovery. Sarah's family is hoping that she can return to Adelaide but it will come at a huge cost with Sarah's mother, Susan, planning to leave her job to take up full time care of Sarah and her son for the foreseeable future.

I have set up a fundraising page for Sarah, on behalf of my workmates, as we wanted to do something, anything, to assist. I encourage you to donate and be generous. All funds raised will go directly to Sarah and her family to pay for the rehab and support she needs. If we hit $10,000 that will be an amazing outcome for Sarah and her baby boy, Noah, but whatever we raise will be greatly welcomed so please give what you can.

Please share this widely and regularly, encourage your friends and colleagues to donate as well. The kindness you give now will hopefully be returned to you one day, if you should ever need it.

Thank you.
