Hello
We are the Sean Koch Band, a group of four brothers from sunny Cape Town, South Africa! Together, we’re on a mission: to spread positivity and light to as many humans as we possibly can through our music and uplifting energy.
We have been given an immense opportunity to take our mission back across to Europe. We believe this could be the final push over the precipice to genuine and incredible success in our journey and our mission as musicians.
The Ask
As it stands, everything is in place: the music is recorded, the album artwork created and the shows are booked. All we have to do is show up, that, and overcome a MONUMENTAL FINANCIAL CHALLANGE...
To make this all happen, we need to be able to first get to Europe, then travel across it in a big van (see booked tour dates under ‘Impact’) – and hopefully have places to rest our tired heads on the way.
As this is a music tour, there are also costs involved in gear hire; tour management and booking fees; merchandise production and, of course, food, that we still need to cover.
A LOT OF THESE EXPENSES NEED TO BE PAID UPFRONT (to earn money you need to spend money, right?) A summarised break down of our budget and key costs are as follows:
- Travel (incl. airfare; tour van rental; fuel; visas; overweight luggage costs)
- Living Expenses (accommodation and food for 17 weeks abroad):
- Asset production (incl. merchandise and CD’s):
- Gear (incl. backline rental and gear insurance):
The Impact
If we succeed in reaching our goal, the impact on our lives would be unbelievably extraordinary.
With your support we will remain Indie and dodge the clutches of the infamous "dodgy record deal". Being independent and free from corporate control, allows us to maintain our artistic integrity!
Together, we stand a better chance of our wildest dreams becoming an actual living reality. We would be able to surely market ourselves and our tour, further enabling us to spread our light and positivity across Europe!
