In 2010, one of us had the bright idea to do something great.
We didn't know what at the time - Marathon? Charity run? Bake sale? We just knew it had to be epic - and have a great cause. That's why we eventually chose Tough Mudder - 10-12 miles of brutal obstacles, non-stop action, intense camaraderie and proceeds that would benefit an excellent charity, the Wounded Warrior Project. Tough Mudder is a test of physical prowess, but more importantly, a test of will - and good teamwork.
Three years, eight teammates and six cities later, we're still going strong.
What began as a team of four banding together for a weekend run turned into a yearly pilgrimage. Our team has grown every season, and after two incredible years cutting our teeth in Mount Snow, Vermont, we're ready to move on and conquer as many events as possible! Initially, we had our eyes set on Virginia Beach. However, because of scheduling conflicts with Tough Mudder, we're staying in New England this year to take on the mud in our home turf: BOSTON!
Better, faster, stronger.
When we started three years ago, it was four dudes slumming it in a muddy tent in Vermont. Three years later...well, not much has changed actually! But we'd like to think we've grown. Our team roster certainly has, as well as our total contributions to our primary charity, the Wounded Warrior Project. Over the past two years our guys have been able to raise more than 1,500$ for charity - no small feat for our tiny team! In addition, last year we were incredibly lucky to have our sweet gear funded by Traub Breweries - so we could run in style while showing off our sweet gear!
Want to help? There's a way.
For two years we ran at Mount Snow, Vermont - a great mountain in a great town in a great state. This year we're upping the ante a bit. After successfully cutting our teeth (and kidneys) on Mount Snow, we're taking our game to our home field in Boston. But we can't do it alone - you can help! If you feel as passionately about our cause as we do, you don't have to slog through the trenches to be a part of the team - consider giving a donation so we can keep contributing to a worthy charity. It's good karma - and don't worry, we'll do the running!
Can do attitude.
Want to help but can't run with us? Want to donate but moths erupting from you wallet? No problem! Help us spread the good word. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbors - tell everyone!
