Ladies and gentlemen!
I appeal to everyone who is not indifferent to the situation in Ukraine, when, due to Russian aggression, millions of people are forced to move, including to other countries, and tens of thousands of children have lost the opportunity to get an education.
My name is Robert Vaishla and I am the co-founder of ‘’Optima’’ school, the largest licensed and accredited distance learning school in Ukraine, which has been operating in Ukraine for over 7 years. Before the aggression began, more than 9,500 Ukrainian children studied with us, not only from Ukraine, but from all over the world.
After the outbreak of hostilities, the school management decided to provide a free connection to the learning process for all children who left the country or for other reasons lost the opportunity to attend school. More than 100,000 children in grades 1-11 already use this service.
Our school offers students advanced diverse and complete educational material and forms of knowledge control, as evidenced by the high results of our students in state final exams, as well as the fact that many of them continue their studies at leading universities in Ukraine and the world.
Given the fact that the content of the learning platform requires significant financial costs, as well as with such a large and rapidly growing number of students, in order to avoid a decrease in the quality of education, a significant increase in the teaching staff of the school is required, I appeal to all caring people and organizations in the world: in this difficult moment you can support our project and help children get an education now, without waiting for peace to come and the doors of schools to open again.
Thank you!
