about our team

We are a small high school FIRST robotics team from Midland, MI. We build a 100lb robot in 6 weeks to meet a challenge and compete with other teams in Michigan. We just found out that we've qualified for the Championships in St. Louis, MO but we don't have the funds to go. This is an incredible honor and opportunity for the team. We are hoping that you can help.

what we need

We need roughly $11,000 to pay the entrance fees and the travel costs for our team to attend the Championships. We are fundraising locally but our timeline is tight, so we're using every resource available.

the impact of helping us

FIRST encourages students of all ages to focus on STEM (Science, Teachnology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields and careers in order to continually better ourselves and our society. Being a part of an robotics team gives students hands-on, real-world experience and education (while being fun!). Going to the Championships will give us a greater understanding of STEM in the world and encourage cooperation with mutliple nationalities (over 60 countries send teams) to solve the world's problems.
