Help us with Isaac's medical bills

2012 was a uneventful year, medically speaking, so we cut our health insurance down to save money. 4 months into 2013, & we're drowning in bills.

Our Little Miracle; Isaac

After 5 years of fertility treatments, my wife and I decided to stop all treatments and leave it in God's hands. To our SURPRISE, 5 months later we found out we were pregnant, after being told for 5 years that we would NEVER concieve on our own.

Our son, Isaac, has always been on the GO! He started fully independant walking by 9 months, and by 11 months he was running everywhere.  We always joked that it was a miracle that he hadn't broke a bone or needed stitches yet.

Last year, 2012, we flew through the year with out using our insurance deductible, so we decided we would drop our insurance down for 2013 and save money. Two weeks into 2013, we took our at the time 22 month old back to the dentist for his 6month check up, where we found out that he had the start of "bottle rot" (He has never had a bottle). We had to have a flouride treatment done, and we were told that we would need to come back in 3 months for another. If it progressed, he'd need to have surgery to clean the decay out and possibly pull/replace some of the teeth.  We were DEVASTATED. Just 6 months before, we were advised by the dentist that the little brown spots on his teeth were mineral staining from his vitamin drops.

In February, we took Isaac for his 2 year well child check up, where his doctor was concerned about the lack of sleep he gets because he's up all night with tummy pain. So she sent him for blood work to check for Chron's, Celiac.....which was $427.00.

March 23rd, Isaac was running through the house in socks, when he slipped and fell into the splits. He couldn't put any weight on the leg when he got up so we went to the ER. Turns out, he got a spiral fracture in the femur on the left leg which required surgery and he's now in a Spica cast (a cast around his rib cage, that goes down to the ankle of the broken leg and down to the knee of his other leg).

Our portion so far for the ER visit, Xrays, Er doctors, and surgery is just a bit over $3,000.  We haven't seen the bill yet for the Ortho at the Er, the orthopedic doctor who did the surgery, Anesthesia, etc. Apri 17th, we go back to the dentist for another flouride treatment and for a surgery consult. We're told there will be 4 more ortho office visits, at least 2 more sets of xrays, and the cast removal.

So we're asking for some help as we don't have the ability to pay for the bills and we don't want to not pay the doctors when they're working on our little boy.

How you can help

If you were able to contribute even a small amount, that would help us out and possibly keep our heads above water.

If you're unable to help financially, we'd love it if you could help us share our campaign and keep Isaac in your prayers.
