YACC’s Mission is to build a community of young adults diagnosed with cancer that provides information, support, skills and opportunity.
In 2003 I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I went through a year of chemotherapy and radiation, yet my 'healing journey' never truly began until I sought out people like me who had been through what I had experienced as a young adult with cancer. The friends family I have met through YACC have been invaluable to me and my path back to enjoying life after Cancer. I want to help them continue to bring other people like me together from all over Canada so they can join us in our collective experiences.
You can help raise money and spread the word on the good that YACC does every time someone goes "Hey yeah, Cancer DOES Suck! Nice shirt [insert your name here]"
The Shirts!
All shirts are going to be printed on Gildan Ultra Cotton 5000. It's a nice high-quality cotton shirt that holds ink really well and lasts for hundreds of washes. These are two levels of quality above the typical shirts you get at a concert or t-shirt shop. That cheap cotton never lasts! You're going to love the heavy cotton.
Sizes Available : XS - S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL
Ladies Fits Available for Most Designs!
I can get MOST of the shirt colours in the Ladies' Fit! I will let you can decide if you want a Men's shirt in the preferred colour, or the Ladies' fit in the "alternate" colour.

The Numbers!
To be worthwhile, I have to print a minimum of two dozen of each design. So each design printed costs me $308.49 whether I sell 1 or all 24. To print all 12 designs means I have to pay almost $3700 up front, just to find out if this is a good idea. So can I just say HOORAY for crowdfunding?
Using my minimum goal numbers, the production cost will be roughly $12.85 per shirt. Indiegogo takes 4%, plus 3% for a transaction fee. A good envelope for .75 cents and you have $5.00 for YACC for each $20 pledge! Yay MATH!

The great thing about this campaign is that the more shirts I can pre-sell, the cheaper I can produce them, and the MORE can go to YACC!

"Hey...haven't I seen something that looks like that somewhere before? This wouldn't be IP INFRINGEMENT WOULD IT?!?!"
No, I created every design myself from scratch, using legally licensed fonts and everything. As for the Intellectual Property rights, these are clearly Parody, which is protected by Fair Use (and several precedents in the US; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use#Fair_use_and_parody). Plus, with all the existing parody logos out there...at least I'm raising money for charity!
