Short Summary
Griffin is a henchman working for the sinister Dr. Hans Maddox. He’s not a bad guy at all. In fact, the only reason he is a henchman
is because he wants to support his friend Kevin. Kevin’s cynicism has
made him a bit power-hungry. All Griffin really wants is to be with the
girl of his dreams, the bad ass secret agent Lillian King. After Lillian
and her smooth, playboy partner Agent Alex Stone are captured, Kevin
uses the opportunity to make a claim for power. Griffin must put aside
his normally passive nature and become the hero that he is meant to be.
He needs to stop Kevin’s plans for world domination, save the President
of the United States, and hopefully make his dreams come true with
Lillian King.
Director - Adam Crain
Adam Crain, writer and director, is a senior at the University of Central Arkansas. Growing up in Conway, Arkansas, Adam had his eyes set on filmmaking at a very early age. With the advent of DVD’s, he began to buy movies to strictly watch behind the scenes features and listen to audio commentaries from the makers of the film. Beginning his career at UCA, his will to make films was challenged, however he persevered and went on to direct his first film in Digital Filmmaking 2, “Murder Cum Laude.” The film was a success, and was accepted into the department’s annual film festival. The Film
This film is our final project for the Digital Film Program at the University of Central Arkansas. This film is a huge step forwards for our film careers. We all believe in the film we are trying to create and we are working nonstop to make sure that it will be the best it can be.
This film will have everything! From guns, to blood, to explosions, and to epic fight scenes. We have a large, experienced crew to help make sure the film is executed flawlessly, but we still need YOUR help!
Our film is a large undertaking that requires more money than we, as college students, have. Any donation you can make will help us tremendously. With your help, we will be able to afford better equipment, more props, and will be able to feed our hard-working crew.
In summary, your donation will help create one of the most fun, exciting, explosive, and action-packed films the Digital Film Program at UCA has ever seen!
What We Need & What You Get
The money will go towards:
- Costumes (Making sure that every character and henchmen has a uniform)
- Props (Everything from handcuffs, knives, guns, and LASERS!)
- Steady Cam (To make sure the camera will be able to catch all of the action!)
- Food (A well-fed crew is a hard-working crew. We need food for 6 shooting days.)
When you donate, there are a number of awesome perks you can receive. Some of these include:
- A signed DVD of the film from the cast and crew!
- The original score of the film!
- A signed poster
- An executive producer credit
- And even an opportunity to BE AN EXTRA in the film!
If we are unable to reach our goal of $1500 for the film, we will use all of the available funds primarily to feed our crew. With any extra funds, we will have to buy props that will end up being substantially less convincing than the props we will be able to buy if we reach our goal. With that said, we are extremely gracious of any donations we receive and will continually work hard to make the best film we can.
Risks & Challenges
We understand the challenges that come from making an action movie without the benefit of a "Hollywood" budget. So far in our production, we have already managed to solve a few of them, including:
- Fight Choreography
- Over the top prop and costume designs
- Practical blood effects
- Visual effects
- Large locations
When it comes to managing all of these challenges, we have it under control. Now, all we need is YOUR HELP!
Other Ways You Can Help
Every donation helps us achieve our goal. If you are unable to donate money, you can still help us TREMENDOUSLY by spreading the word on social media, and liking our
Facebook page.
