About The Film
“A reverend's simple life descends into chaos when he accidentally kills a member of his church, leading him down a path of moral crisis.”
Heresy, coming 2021, is a short film focused on the human condition of a person when put in an impossible situation. Our film focuses on exploring three themes; faith, morality and hidden identity. We aim to express these themes in the film, all whilst creating a world that is engaging and enticing to our audience.
What We Need
Creating a film on this scale requires a detailed and structured budget. In order to truly fulfil the potential of our film, we have broken down each expense we are expecting to face, which we hope that this fundraiser can help us cover. These include:

A lot of our story is set in a church, therefore any excess budget we receive will go as a donation to the church as a big thank you for making our film possible.

Risks & Challenges
Making a film during the COVID-19 pandemic leaves us facing more risks than ever before, Besides the standard procedures and safety measures such as kit damage, injuries and illness and poor weather/safety on site, we also have to take into account COVID-19 procedures to ensure the smooth running of production. This includes providing PPE, following socal distancing measures and government guidelines, and training at least one member of our crew to become a COVID Marshal. Therefore, we would like to spend money on ensuring our production is as safe and successful as possible, in every way!
