The History of Comics 1930 - 2030

Collect the History of Comics in a unique partwork.  One issue features one year in comics.  We believe this project has never been attempted before.  We start with years 1986, 1977, 1950 and 1984.  All four stand alone magazines can also be kept in a collectable slipcase. The first four includes articles on Watchmen, Oink, Diceman, Metalzoic, Mazing Man, The Nam, Howard the Duck, Daredevil, Judge Dredd, 2000AD, Heavy Metal, X-Men, Star Wars, Cerebus, Eagle/Dan Dare, Strange Adventures, Peanuts, Lana Lang, Marvel Boy, Comics Code, Scream, Halo Jones, Transformers, Swamp Thing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America, Fandom, World Comics, Comic Memories, Top Ten Comics to own in each year, Book Reviews from each year, a comic cultural overview of each year and the best in comic journalism, academic writing and comic creator work and art.

Help us reach our goal

We need £1050 to print the first four magazines.

The Impact

We launched this project on another crowdfunding platform a year ago and have produced 8 books in the series already with four more on the way.  The Premium Books are also available here but this is launching a low cost magazine version of the partwork (with new covers) so more people can collect and learn about the History of Comics.

Risks & Challenges

The content is good to go but we need you to help fund the print run.

Other Ways You Can Help

The more people who pledge the more you help support this unique project.  Even if you don't plan to pledge do share the campaign to your networks.
