We need your help to publish the second holdfast print Anthology!
Holdfast is an award-winning free online speculative fiction magazine that celebrates all things fantastic.
We celebrate speculative fiction by focusing on specific aspects of the genres in themed issues, picking apart each topic in a detailed, analytical yet entertaining way. These genres have so much to offer the literary world, and we want to share our passion for this rich, fascinating and varied resource.
Holdfast is a free resource available to anyone with internet access, run by a small team who work on the magazine in their spare time for free. This means that in order to pay our incredibly talented writers and artists, we raise funds through the printing of an Anthology every four issues. We then use this to pay all of the contributors for those four issues.
We were so pleased to successfully run a campaign for our first anthology, issues 1-4, which not only enabled us to print a beautiful paperback, but also to split all profits after printing and postage costs equally between each contribution.
Since then we’ve gone on to win the British Fantasy Society award for best magazine, get nominated again this year (wow!), and publish four great new issues.
So it’s time for holdfast anthology 2!
Check out our perks and become a part of the holdfast team!
Remember ALL profits after printing and postage go to pay the writers and artists for their valuable work.
