What is Hot Straw?
Hot Straw is the only straw that is safe for hot liquids. We made it of a sturdier BPA Free, FDA Approved plastic that can sustain the heat of a cup of coffee or tea preventing potentially harmful chemicals from leaching into the beverage.  Hot Straw’s shape fits perfectly into the opening of a coffee cup lid, making it a spill stopper that you can drink from and it is sustainable, reusable and dishwasher safe. 

The unique shaped dual-hole designed allows you to sip hot liquids safely. How did you come up with such a great idea?

After being disgusted when I found out about the toxins that I was putting into my body by using a normal disposable straw and coming up empty on my search for a straw that my Parkinson's patients could use to prevent spills, I decided to create my own and the idea for Hot Straw was born.

When and how will you ship my cool stuff?

We will ship via USPS first class in the end of November. We will get product to you well before Christmas, so don't worry if you are ordering for gifts. We will send you an email before we ship to ask what color and size you would like.

What happens if the Hot Straw project is over-funded?

If we get more than our goal, we will put the extra funding toward producing some new colors or do a donation to a local hospital or rehab center. Don't worry, we will keep you informed!
