About Hugowood
Hugowood is a dramedy series set at the elite, fictional Austin, Texas Armadillo Television Academy and stars Hugo Santana, an aspiring writer with dreams of creating an uber gay space opera series. Only, Hugo must contend with his closeted Professor Darren Strain, who is involved in a secret love affair with Hugoās crush and co-star, Isaac Rexha, and Isaacās reality TV crazed-sisters, The Rexhas, Kardashian-wannabes who are dead set on keeping Hugo from their brother due to Hugoās disability.
Itās Mean Girls meets 30 Rock brimming with pink fabulousness, so whatās not to like? Seriously?!
Why You Should Donate
When we discuss the diversity issue in Hollywood, we often ignore people living with disabilities. This isnāt one of those series about a family dealing with their childās disability. Itās about a boy with a disability living his life for himself, who can carry his own series.
To make matters short, Hugowood is the series that wouldāve done me a lot of good to have in my younger years. Iām hoping to provide that for someone else. Also, itās gay and amazing. Not donating would be considered a triple-hate crime. You donāt want to get canceled, right?
Please donate if you can and share!
Your contributions will help us pay for production design, wardrobe, and special effects.

Chikodili Agwuna - Producer-Actor
Chikodili Agwuna was born in a Nigerian home, but actually just in a regular hospital in Washington, D.C., and therefore enjoys the hell out of her dual citizenship. After fully living that Big Ten life in undergrad at Penn State, she co-founded a publishing company, Chormeri Books, and started to tell the kind of stories she wished sheād heard growing up. In an effort to share such stories with the world, she decided to enter the world of film and television and moved to sunny LA to pursue an MFA in Writing for the Screen at Loyola Marymount University. There, she discovered a multitude of talents she had never thought to explore outside of writing and has even begun a burgeoning career in stand-up comedy. Her role as Zadie in Hugowood will be her first on-screen role and will open the door for her next on-screen performance in her very own Netflix comedy special (speaking it into existence, people).
