The Film
Hunting
Tale is a feature length dramedy about four friends who decide to spend guys weekend learning how to hunt for deer up in the woods of Wisconsin. While they spend quality time partying, goofing off and missing almost every deer they spot; one of them finds out a little more than he was expecting
when he runs into his high school sweat heart.
The film will NOT be starring Legos. These videos are just to entertain you for now.
The Director
Hunting Tale will be Shanra J. Kehl's feature directorial debut. She wants to shoot her first feature back in her hometown of Wisconsin to help showcase the state of
Wisconsin. She knows that she picked a touchy subject for some animal rights
activits but can guartnee that no animals will be harmed in the making of the
film.
Shanra
recently co-wrote and directed Manscaping, a short film that traveled around
the world at more than three dozen film festivals. The film won numerous awards and
landed her a meeting with Schick Japan to help develop a marketing campaign for
them. Manscaping
has been a success on iTunes and on local television throughout the world
thanks to their distributor Shorts International. Here is a link to the trailer of the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9JenSzMF_o

He and She Films needs at least $128,000 to make a
good quality film. We are hoping to raise this money through IndieGoGo and we are also talking with a few private investors.
Ninety-six percent of the money raised on IndieGoGo (because IndieGoGo take their share which is 4%) will go towards all three phases of production:
pre-production, production and post-production.
Our goal is to begin principal photography before spring begins. However, if we do not reach our goal we will hold the money in a bank account and wait until we have enough money to begin production.
